The design for this home was inspired by areas like Aspen, Breckenridge and Davos, Switzerland..where preserving trees and land whenever possible is prevelant.  Taking full advantage of the lay of the land and water views this waterfront home was built so there would be privacy for the master suite area, a main level for all guests to enjoy and a lower level to make guests feel right at home without feeling that they are intruding in the family life and they have direct access to the outdoors and the lake.  The driveway is short and provides easy access to the garage.  The front deck has wide easy stairs w/railings and a welcoming porch w/log bench.  The entry has terra cotta tile and is wide open with a 30' ceiling and wall of windows overlooking the lake.  A double sided fireplace seperates the living room from the hearth room.  French doors seperate the dining room from the hearth room.  The dining room could double as a sunroom.  The kitchen was designed so the cook could partake in conversation with guests.  The kitchen offers a walk-in pantry, six burner Viking Gas range with professional size oven.  A second wall oven and microwave/convection oven.  Built in on the hand made tile counters is a Jennair grill that can be exchanged with a griddle or rotisserie.  The master suite is private with it's own deck providing a direct view of the lake and a seperate window to enjoy the special sunsets over the lake while resting on the bed or sitting on the window bench, fireplace, large walk-in closet, cedar closet w/built in safe, master bath with soaking tub, double sinks and shower.  15' cathedral ceilings.  The lower level has floor to ceiling windows bringing the outdoors in, an indoor California hot tub surrounded w/redwood decking & adjacent to a bistro like sitting area that opens up w/a height of 30', a sauna, seperate shower, family room, 2 bedrooms & a full bath. Pathway to the lake & beach feels like a walk through the woods.  Generously landscaped yard.
