The Raccoon River Valley Trail is a 56 mile, mult-use recreation trail that begins in Clive and runs to Jefferson. Formerly the Milwaukee Railroad, the trail is owned by Dallas, Guthrie and Green Counties' conservation boards. The trail will take you through the Middle and North Raccoon River corridors. You will breath fresh through the areas of pairie and canopies of timber that will remind you of Iowa in the 1800's.
